Fork sliders help protect the front axle, axle nut, fork bottoms, brake calipers and rim during a crash and slide. If you're wondering if axle sliders are necessary, consider that Suzuki started putting them on the DRZ as standard equipment in '07. More tracks are requiring them in order for you to race on them as well.
The parts are CNC machined from virgin engineering grade plastic rod for superior strength, fit and finish. Features are machined into each part to allow them to fit over the axle and flush against the fork bottoms. This protects the axle and nut from even side impacts and avoids that "skateboard wheel stuck on the end of the axle" look. This kit installs in less than one minute per side with only a 5mm key key. They remove just as quickly for maintenance and can be reinstalled virtually an unlimited number of times. Due to the small inner diameter of the front axle, this kit uses a threaded rod through the axle to mount the sliders (included).
Kit 150-0050 contains 2 sliders with stainless steel hardware, aluminum through-axle connecting rod, installation instructions and 2 RhinoMoto logo stickers
