Fork sliders help protect the front axle, axle nut, fork bottoms, brake calipers and rim during a crash and slide. The parts are CNC machined from virgin plastic rod for superior stregnth, fit and finish. Features are machined into each part to allow them to fit over the axle and flush against the fork bottoms. This protects the axle and nut from even side impacts and avoids that "skateboard wheel stuck on the end of the axle" look. This kit requires that the axle retention bolt on the right side be removed and a nut (included in kit) be pressed into the bolt. Once this has been done, the sliders install in less than one minute per side with only a 5mm key key. They remove just as quickly for maintenance and can be reinstalled virtually an unlimited number of times.
Kit 150-0130-001 fits 2008 1000RR and includes 2 fork slider with stainless steel bolts, installation instructions and 2 RhinoMoto logo stickers.
Note: The bolt on the right side will need to be drilled and tapped with M6-1.0 threads. Predrilled bolts will be available as soon as they are available to us from Honda. Until that time, we will offer to drill and tap your bolt at no charge with a one day turnaround if you send it to us.
